A new slate of publishers have emerged
A lot of marketing talks fall in the trap of looking back on beats and stating numbers to gauge performance of games, providing few actionable takeaways as it’s so specific to the game(s) discussed. Here, I’d like to focus on intent and forecasting, and how that impacts decision-making before the actual beats. Ideally I’d also like to collect some info from other pubs in our space like Future Friends Games, Forklift, Stray Fawn, etc to provide different takes on how smaller publishing outfits operate. This would be useful for both devs preparing their projects and other BD people in attendance to get a peak inside this emerging publishing landscape.
