About Mike
With over 18 years of solving complex software problems, Mike has worn many hats: missile algorithms, business automation, blockchain devtools, and multiplayer gamedev. Mike now specializes in game backends and developer tools. At Hathora, he leads R&D efforts for reducing time and costs for Unreal studios with Hathora’s hybrid cloud orchestration platform. Mike is based in the greater Portland area and co-organizes the local Unreal PDX community. When he’s not programming, Mike can be found crafting new cocktails, running a D&D campaign, sailing his new Hobie, or hiking the PNW.
