A game culture evangelist whose forty-year plus journey began in the Atari era. Has delivered over 200 talks on game-related topics. With more than two decades of experience in interaction design, creative direction, and development, remains active in both domestic and international indie game and game education circles. Witness to the rise of the Chinese indie game scene.
Founded North American Game Major Student Salon during GDC and has hosted dozens of gatherings for game creators around the world. Has served as a judge for global and Chinese game competitions such as the TIG Global Indie Game Contest, IMGA China, Game Connection etc. Also the host of the Indie Game session at CGDC and a lecturer in game design at the Communication University of China.
A practitioner of gamified education, researcher of game history, and advisor to both the Meta Break Video Game Museum and the Homo Ludens Archive. The founder of the Paper Prototype Game Design Workshop, a game design course series. Known as “熊拖泥”in China .
