À propos de la séance

Video games bring players together to compete, collaborate, and build communities. As these experiences continue to evolve, ensuring players can enjoy them safely remains a shared priority.

This fireside chat brings together Canada’s video game industry and Public Safety Canada to discuss how safer player experiences are built and maintained. The conversation will explore the multi-layered approach to player safety used across games and platforms, including moderation and reporting tools, community standards, and parental controls.

Speakers will discuss emerging challenges, approaches to mitigating risks, and how industry and government can work together to strengthen player protection.
