Alexander Champlin

Alexander leads Niko Partners’ writing and editing team and esports research practice, and serves as the primary analyst for special topics shaping the video game industry across Asia and MENA. His work spans esports data projects as well as the direction of white papers, thought leadership, and topic reports covering areas such as web3, the metaverse, gametech, and game infrastructure. Alexander holds a PhD in Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with an emphasis on esports and livestreaming, and has authored several book chapters used in the industry.
