Mahdeen Abrar

Mahdeen Abrar is the CEO and co-founder of Jestr, a creator marketing platform built specifically for the games industry. A computer science grad turned entrepreneur and content creator, Mahdeen has spent much of his career at the intersection of gaming, technology, and online creators.

Since launching Jestr in July 2025, he and his team have grown the company from a bootstrapped startup in Halifax, Nova Scotia into a global platform used by game developers, publishers, and thousands of gaming creators. Through Jestr, creators have generated more than 2 billion views and earned over $5 million USD from partnerships with game studios.

Mahdeen is particularly interested in the changing ways games are discovered online, the growing influence of short-form creators, and building more accessible opportunities for creators and independent game developers.
