Shawn Woods

Shawn Woods is a game industry entrepreneur and creative leader with 25 years of experience building games and teams. He co-founded Alpha Dog Games, the studio behind Mighty DOOM, which reached more than 10 million downloads, and participated in Supercell’s AI Lab, exploring new approaches to AI-native game development.

Through his Brave Bear Ventures initiative, Shawn is focused on giving small, experienced teams creative and technical superpowers to compete with much larger studios. His approach puts human judgment, artistic direction, and production experience at the centre of AI adoption, turning powerful tools into purposeful workflows and compelling player experiences.

Joining Tripo 3D’s panel at MIGS in Montreal, Shawn brings a builder’s perspective on how AI can expand what small teams achieve, and why experience matters more than ever.
